Kacie and Newsie

Kacie is excited about her new pet. Unfortunately, the rest of us now live with a rat in the house. Kacie named her new pet "Newspaper" because she is black and white. She calls her "Newsie". They are the best of friends. Kacie's affection for rats started this year when her school teacher brought a pet rat into the classroom. She let each of the kids take turns taking the rat home for a day or two. The rat at school is named marshmallow. Kacie received her rat for Christmas from her older brother Bryant. Dad and Jamie won't touch the rat. Mom holds the thing too and lets it crawl all over her.
