Today we woke up early. We needed to leave the house by 8:30 and get to the airport by 9:30. Our flights left around 11:30 and two hours is required for international flights. Last time I did not take this seriously I spent the night at the Heathrow airport in London. Diana was up early to making our farewell breakfast. She made bratwurst and eggs while we packed our bags. We had a great week in Switzerland and it was hard to believe that it was already time to go back home. We left the house at 8:30 right on time. We were on our way to the airport in Flughafen. We made it to the airport with a little time to spare. While we were waiting for our flights, the girls all stocked up on Swiss chocolate in the gift shops. They wanted to bring something back for each of their brothers and sisters as well as friends. Kacie bought a few more sugar free bars for Hannah since she could not resist the ones she had bought earlier in the week. We first flew from Zurich to Copenhagen and then back to Seattle. We had a two hour layover in Copenhagen. Lindsi was showing sure signs of too much travel when she lifted up a quarter in Copenhagen and asked me how much it was worth in American money. I think she thought it was Danish currency. She looked a little bewildered when I said twenty five cents just like all quarters. On the flight back, we were served baby sprites again. Lindsi and Kacie were so smitten by these small drinks that they kept them as souvenirs. Kelly and Bruce and family were waiting for us at the airport when we returned to Seattle. It was a great trip but comforting to be back home.
