Pumpkin Pasta

Ingredients
2 cloves Garlic
1 TB butter
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 cup chicken broth
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp chili powder
pinch cayenne pepper
black pepper
2 TB half and half cream
8 oz. pasta


Directions
1) Boil pasta to al dente, drain in colander. Prepare sauce while water coming to boil and pasta cooking
2) Mince two cloves garlic and add to large skillet with 1 TB butter. Sautee over medium low for 1-2 minutes
3) Add pumpkin puree and chicken broth to skillet and stir to combine
4) Add nutmeg, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and some freshly cracked pepper. Stir in the spices and let simmer for 10 minutes while pasta is cooking
5) When pasta is draining, add half and half to sauce mixture and stir in.
6) Add drained pasta to the sauce and stir in.
