Swiss Steak

3 lbs Round Steak
1 or 2 cans of stewed tomatoes
1 pkg onion soup

1) Cut steak into bite size pieces or a little bigger (cutting off fat)
2) Flour the meat and brown it in oil
3) Place steak and drippings in roasting pan
4) Add stewed tomatoes (1 or 2 cans)
5) Add packet of dried onion soup
6) Cook 2 to 2 1/2 hours at 350 degrees (covered)
7) Remove meat and thicken gravy if desired (with 2 TBSP corn starch)
Corn starch must be added as paste when sauce is boiling
