Lion House Rolls

Ingredients
2 TB Dry Yeast (2 packets)
2 cups warm water
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup shortening (butter or margerine)
2 1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup nonfat dry milk
5 to 6 cups flour
1 egg


Directions
1) In large bowl of electric mixer, combine yeast and water. Let stand 5 minutes.
2) Add sugar, shortening, salt, dry milk, 2 cups flour, and egg
3) Beat together until very smooth
4) Add 2 more cups flour, one at a time, beat until smooth
5) Add about 1 more cup flour, 1/2 cup at a time, until mixed in.
6) Turn dough onto a lightly floured board and knead until smooth and satiny.
7) Gather dough into a ball
8) Scrape bowl clean and grease with shortening, return dough to bowl and grease surface lightly
9) Let rise in warm not hot place (until triple in size)
10) Return dough to board and roll out
11) Cut into desired shapes (in stacks), brush surface with butter
12) Place stacks of cutouts in money roll pan (with cube of butter melted at bottom of pan)
13) Let rise another 1 1/2
14) Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes
