Ingredients
9 ounces fruit flavored dry gelatin mix. (3 - 3 ounce packages, or 1 ½ of the 6 ounce packages. ) Keri likes to use strawberry or mixed berry flavors
4 cups white sugar
13 cups boiling water
x 46 fluid ounce cans pineapple juice
x 16 ounce bottle lemon juice concentrate
1 to 2 (2 liter) bottles Ginger Ale, chilled, or Keri often uses Squirt soda

Directions
In a large pan or bowl, combine gelatin and sugar. Stir in boiling water until mixture is dissolved. Stir in pineapple juice and lemon juice concentrate. Divide into 2 containers, and freeze until solid. (I like to use two of those big fat-sized Tupperware plastic bowls.) -Keri’s note : It takes about 24 hours to freeze this mixture, so you have to remember to get it going a whole day before you want to use it.
To get ready for serving, place gelatin mixture in punch bowl, and chop & mash into pieces. Pour in ginger ale. –Keri’s note: It takes about an hour for it to thaw to the point of easily being able to chop & mash the frozen mixture. Then add as much pop as you want to make the consistency you’re goin’ for. Add less soda to keep it like a thick slush & more soda to turn it into a punch-type beverage. The original recipe was for punch but the kids & I like the thicker slush consistency the best. That’s how I made it when you guys came over. Also, the recipe says to use ginger ale, but I often use Squirt soda too.
