Kacie has been purposely growing her hair long for the past few years.  She enjoys long hair but her goal has been to one day donate it to someone with Alopicia Areata.  Alopecia is a disease that causes a person to lose their hair on and off throughout their life.   Cyndi Beeler, a young woman, from nearby Gray's Harbor deals with Alopecia.   Kacie recently cut thirteen inches of her hair that is being made into a hair hat and being sent Cyndi's way.   Here are some pictures of Cyndi and Kacie.
